The success of the celebration of Our Seraphic Father Francis on Oct. 4th.

A constructive evaluation by the Visitation Team on 10/12, allowing us to: evaluate our fraternity more

effectively, implement and suggestions for improvement identified during the Visitation, renew our thirst
for a life based on the Gospels and imitate St. Francis more faithfully as a community.
Our Inquirers and Candidates: Ed, Pauline, Kathleen, Julie, and Peter.

From the Minister's Desk:
I cannot recall a busier Fall season for our Fraternity!! We will be participating in St. Helen's Ministry Fair on the weekend of Sept. 27th; our celebration of St. Francis on October 4th at St. John of the Cross - see agenda on the flier printed on the reverse of this CANTICLE (please photocopy it and distribute to family and friends - ask your pastor for permission to place some in your church, too); the formal visitation to our frat- ernity on our regular meeting date - 10/12; the Rite of Admission for two very impressive Inquirers - Kathleen and Ed; the Profession of two dedicated and faith-filled Candidates - Peter Askin on 10/4 and Julie McHugh in November (perhaps 11/15) at St. Lucie Church in Port St. Lucie.

Praise God for all His blessings! Our fraternity has much cause for joy and gratitude!

Peggy Rysdyke has agreed to chair the Nominating Committee for our upcoming elections in January. If you would like to serve with her on this committee, please call her at (772) 340-7641. Peggy will present us with a slate of nominees (1 or 2 for each office) at the December meeting for the offices of Minister, Vice-Minister, Treasurer and Secretary. Should you be interested in being a nominee for one of these offices, she would be glad to hear from you. (Offices are open only to Professed members.)
