RESOURCES FOR FRANCISCANS AND
OTHERS
Neither Five Franciscan Martyrs Region, nor
Divine Mercy Fraternity of the Secular Franciscan Order, are resources of
Franciscan and other materials. We do not have a bookshop nor a gift shop. There
are a number of good sources for Franciscan books, jewelry, etc., as well as
sources for general Catholic items, available to everyone.
Most
Frequently used Franciscan Vendors
For those studying St. Francis or St.
Clare- St. Bonaventure
University's Franciscan Institute is a place to start. It is THE
place to start looking for scholarly material in the USA. Franciscan Institute
Publications, St. Bonaventure University, St. Bonaventure, NY 14778 USA.
716-375-2105. The scholarly review, Franciscan Studies, and,
subscriptions to "The Cord" and "Greyfriars Review" can be ordered
from the Institute.

National Fraternity - USA,
is the
best source for the current copy of "Rule of the Secular Franciscan Order",
the General Consitutions, and, The National Statutes. For more
information, please visit their website, which also has a list of all
fraternities in the United States.

Franciscan Resources,
P.O. Box 350, Menahga, MN 56464, Phone: 1-800-772-6910. They now a
website, and they have a lot of books and other materials for the Secular
Franciscan. Personal apostolate of Jim & "Sis" Hein (both SFO) since 1988.
Franciscan Resources carry everything for SFO specifically, including TAUs
(in metal & wood), Tau & other Franciscan Jewelry, All Formation Texts, and some
very good Franciscan books. They accept checks and credit cards.
