• Dear Franciscan Family,
  Please remember in your prayers this weekend Fr. Tom's sister, Kathleen, who lives in Kissimmee and is scheduled to undergo bilateral carotid artery surgery on Monday, July 7. Another sister, Eileen, was recently hospitalized in CO for a subdural hematoma resulting from a fall. She is home now and doing better, but both of them are in need of your prayers, as is Fr. Tom, who is concerned for both of his sisters. He has another sister in MA, who is doing well, but she would also appreciate everyone's prayers for her continued good health. All of his sisters are in their 80's and 90's. God bless all of you, and thank you for your prayers!

• My Franciscan Family, Would you please pray for the repose of the soul of the nephew of Jan and me. He drowned Sunday during a family outing. His name is Tim Lancaster. He was 17 years old. Would you also pray for Loris Morrissey, SFO, who was our Regional Formation Director at one time. She has some medical problems that need your prayers.

June 2008

• Dear brothers and sisters,
  Carol Gentile, SFO, is asking for your prayers for her daughter Teresa.  Teresa was diagnosed with pneumonia, and is still having a difficult time breathing, but this infection is one of the worse her doctor has seen in a very long time.
  Teresa thought she had a bad cold, not knowing that she had pneumonia, continued to work. She had a difficult time keeping food down and she became extremely weak. 6/26 JA/CC
   

• CAROL WALDEN, SFO will be undergoing back surgery on Monday, June 30th.
  Please keep her surgeon and caregivers in your prayers. Please pray that Carol's surgery will be successful.  6/26 CQ
   

• Alain Poulin, Inquirer, has requested prayers for his brother Richard Poulin, who will be going to surgery on June 26th and July 2 for pancreatic cancer surgery. He is 59 years old. Please pray for his surgeons and caregivers that they will be guided and supported by Our Lady, Health of the Sick, and the patron saints and angels in charge of the sick.

• Dear Franciscan Family,
  Fr. Tom's sister, Kathleen (Kay), who lives in Kissimmee, needs your prayers, as she just learned that she will soon undergo a procedure for a 95% blockage in a carotid artery. I am not sure when this will be done, maybe next week, but Fr. Tom asked me to let you all know that she could use your prayers now. She has been having some episodes with falling/dizziness recently. He hopes to visit her this weekend, and they both will very much appreciate everyone's prayers for her. Would you please place her on your fraternity prayer lines? 6/13 Pam
